Jessica Miller is the co-author of A
Woman’s Guide To Successful Negotiating (McGraw
Hill 2002). Currently, Jessica applies her negotiating
skills as
a Commercial Real Estate broker with Grubb & Ellis
Company in the Washington, DC metro area. As a principal
with NegotiationPlus.com, she provides
training and motivational speaking to corporations
and organizations
where she teaches women "How to Get What They
Want" in both their professional and personal
life. She was formerly an Investment Banker with Deutsche
Bank Securities Inc. and a magna cum laude graduate
of Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Administration.
She was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the Business Honor
Society and to the National Society for Collegiate
Scholars. She is the recipient of the Pete Ellison
Memorial Scholarship, Virginia Tech Emerging Leader
Scholarship, Hugh O'Brian Leadership Award, and the
Westfield Foundation Scholarship for Leadership Excellence
as well as a Commonwealth Scholar.
While in school Jessica was an Economic Analyst for
the Student Managed Endowment responsible for managing
$4 million of Virginia Tech Foundation investments
and has also worked for the Communications Department
of the New York Stock Exchange and
on Fox Network's The Cavuto Business
Report. She has
appeared as a guest
on numerous national and regional television and radio
programs including MSNBC's Economy Watch, CNN, CNN-FN,
and Bloomberg News.
